Public Health
Public health plays an indispensable role in conflict-affected states, where socioeconomic and political effects have persistently undermined stability and growth. In these settings, issues related to water and sanitation can significantly affect public health, particularly for the civilian population.M&E tools and techniques can help policymakers to ensure that public health interventions are essential and that resources are used efficiently to promote long-term sustainable development and economic recovery. Furthermore, by collecting and analyzing data on key indicators, such as the prevalence of waterborne diseases, access to clean water and sanitation, and community attitudes towards hygiene, practitioners can better understand the impact of public health interventions and identify areas for improvement.
